The problems faced by couples who enter into ‘mixed’ marriages are especially difficult in a society where race is a significant component of social identity and exerts an important influence on social relationships. The guide is a research associated with individual records and everyday life of the number that is small of families residing in and around Brixton, south London, into the very early 1970s.
